Day 01 LIMA / CUZCO- Arrival at the Cuzco airport and transfer to chosen hotel. We recommend you rest for at least one hour to get acclimatized (3,250 meters above sea level).
- Lunch at Andes Grill restaurant.
- Afternoon City Tour: KORICANCHA (Temple of the Sun). Santo Domingo Convent was built on top of it. Plaza de Armas (Main Square), Cathedral and neighboring archaeological sites: Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Kenko, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay.
Day 02 CUZCO / MACHUPICCHU/ CUZCO
- Continental breakfast.
- 5:40 a.m. transfer to San Pedro train station to take train to Machu Picchu (3 hours ride). Catch bus from town of Aguas Calientes to top of mountain to visit the “Lost City of the Incas”. Guided tour. Buffet style lunch in Aguas Calientes. Afternoon return to city. Hotel transfer. Dinner and folkloric show at Don Antonio Restaurant. Lodging.
Day 03 CUZCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / CUZCO
- Continental breakfast.
- Visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the traditional market at Pisac, and spend time shopping for high quality and bargain priced handicrafts. We continue through the communities of Calca and Yucay, and arrive in Urubamba for lunch. Continue to Ollantaytambo and archaeological site of Chinchero. Return to Cuzco. Lodging.
